This plane looks different and flies like a dream! (See our flying video!) Building is intended for builders that do not want the complications associated with typical “outdated” building procedures.
You don’t need to be a veteran kit builder to build this one.
AMR as eliminated all common complications by supplying laser-cut wood and metal parts, a wing jig for accurate and simple wing assembly, inter-locking parts, self-aligned wing and stab panels, easy to follow manual with more than 220 pictures, plotter-printed drawings and an amazingly strong 5/16’’ thick aluminum water-jet cut main gear.
Flying this plane is simply out of this world! It handles and tracks like a pattern ship at normal cruising speeds and is very impressive at full throttle. Landings are very predictable, without any bad tendencies to stall at very slow speeds. Once you see our video, you will be convinced!
This is a winner and by far, very different from the ARF invasion that we see too often at the flying field.
- All parts are laser-cut.
- All fuselage sides, top and bottom parts are interlocked for easy, accurate assembly.
- Impossible to build this fuselage crooked: Can be built in less than 6 hours!
- Both stab panels are "plug-in type" for transport convenience. Proper stab incidence is factory set.
- Stab mounted servos. Each elevator panel includes a laser-cut recess to encapsulate each servo.
- Ample room and easy access for any radio gear installation, ignition system, fuel/smoke tanks with its removable top hatch.
- “Plug-in” wing design for transport convenience.
- The wing panels are built over a supplied jig: Impossible to build them crooked!
- All plug-in tubes are 6061-T6, 0.049’’ (wing) and 0.035” (stabs)
- All ribs are laser-cut for simplicity and accuracy.
- Cowling, wheel pants and nose ring are made using a White primer gel-coat and hand lay using S-glass fabrics.
- All critical attachment points are laser-marked or cut.
